FIELD: tires vulcanizing.
SUBSTANCE: device for vulcanizing tires and a method for vulcanizing tires are proposed, which make it possible to more reliably close a mold for vulcanizing tires and provide an increase in the physical and mechanical properties in the manufactured tire. The ring (11) of the container is placed on the outer annular side of the segments (6) mounted on the outer annular surfaces of the sector molds (15c). The base plate (3) is positioned above the top plate (2) mounted on the top surface of the top side mold (15a). The green tire is placed in the side position on the lower side mold (15b) mounted on the upper surface of the lower platen (4). In the state in which the base plate (3) is moved downward by the pressure generation mechanism (5) and held in the closed position of the mold, the container ring (11) slidably held in the vertical direction relative to the base plate (3) by the connecting of the housing (8) is moved downwards by the supplied pressurized fluid (F), and the sector molds (15c) are assembled into an annular configuration for closing. The top side mold (15a) is pressed against the top surfaces of the sector molds (15c).
