FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular, to creating low-alloy titanium-based alloys, and can be used for manufacturing articles capable of long-term operation at high temperatures, in particular, components of exhaust systems of vehicle engines. Titanium-based alloy contains, wt.%: aluminium 1.5 to 3.0, molybdenum 0.1 to 0.5, copper 0.5 to 1.5, silicon 0.1 to 0.6, iron no more than 0.2, oxygen no more than 0.15, carbon no more than 0.1, nitrogen no more than 0.03, hydrogen no more than 0.015, titanium and unavoidable impurities the rest.
EFFECT: resulting alloy exhibits a complex of high mechanical and operating properties, in particular, high creep resistance; alloy is also suitable for cold forming.
