FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to a method for applying a bioactive hydroxyapatite coating to titanium alloy implants. The method is characterized in that the application of hydroxyapatite is carried out on a pneumatic jet installation, while the surface of the implant is first blown with abrasive powder, then at an air pressure of at least 6 atmospheres it is blown with a mixture of hydroxyapatite and stainless cast shot with a shot content in the mixture of 30-70 wt.%, followed by drying and heat treatment at a temperature of 450-600°C.
EFFECT: obtaining a porous HA-coating on the implant, characterized by high adhesive strength of at least 50 MPa, roughness Ra = 2.2-2.8 mcm.
