FIELD: experimental medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental medicine and can be used to model local thrombosis in order to study the natural course, pathophysiology and pathomorphology of thrombosis, develop methods for the diagnosis and treatment of local thrombosis, and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy. A finely dispersed suspension of 1 cm2 of a hemostatic collagen antiseptic sponge is prepared in 1 ml of a 0.9% aqueous solution of sodium chloride, mixed in a 1:1 ratio with 1 ml of a 3% solution of a photosensitizable dye Bengal pink. The marginal vein of the rabbit's ear is clamped while maintaining arterial blood flow. The resulting thrombogenic mixture is injected intravenously through the catheter. The selected vessel is irradiated from the zone of clamping to the catheter with green light at a wavelength of 560 nm for 15 minutes, after which the clamping of the vessel is stopped.
EFFECT: method allows to create local photothrombosis on the rabbit ear with damage to the walls of only target vessels without migration of vasoactive and pro-inflammatory metabolites from the zone of action of the activated photosensitizable dye into the microvasculature and overheating of the tissues surrounding the vessel.
