SUBSTANCE: upon admission to the hospital, the body temperature, discoloration of urine in the form of meat slops, yellowness of the skin, anuria, the level of urea and chlorides in the blood serum are determined. The obtained values are entered into the original formulas for calculating the linear discriminant function — LDF₁ — heavy degree of severity of the disease and LDF₂ — extremely heavy degree of severity of the disease. The values of LDF₁ and LDF₂ are compared, and when LDF₁ is greater than LDF₂, a heavy degree of severity of the disease is predicted, and when LDF₂ is greater than LDF₁, an extremely heavy degree of severity of the disease is predicted.

EFFECT: method provides improved prediction accuracy, increased treatment efficiency, and reduced number of adverse outcomes.
