FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to a mouse or a rat with CRISPR reporter integrated into a target genomic locus capable of gene expression, which contains the first polyadenylation signal flanked with the first and the second target sequences of guiding RNA, followed by a reporter cassette. At the same time, CRISPR reporter is functionally connected to a promotor suitable for expression in an animal other than human. A cell of the above-mentioned animal, as well as a method for its production are also disclosed.
EFFECT: invention is effective for studying the capability of CRISPR/Cas nuclease containing protein Cas9 and guiding RNA of cutting out genomic nucleic acid in vivo, as well as for optimization of the capability of CRISPR/Cas nuclease of cutting out genomic nucleic acid in vivo.
