SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coating compositions, in particular to a vacuum tower asphalt extender. A fertilizer with coating, which reduces dust formation and inclination to fertilizer caking, contains a fertilizer and coating, which at least partially covers the fertilizer, wherein coating contains a vacuum tower asphalt extender (hereinafter – VTAE), which is produced by regeneration of car and/or industrial oils, and which has rotary viscosity at 135°C of no more than 300 cP. A method for the prevention of dust formation and fertilizer caking includes at least partial coverage of fertilizer particles, using coating, wherein the specified coating contains VTAE, which is produced by regeneration of car and/or industrial oils, and which has rotary viscosity at 135°C of no more than 300 cP. Coating for the fertilizer, intended for reduction in dust formation and inclination to fertilizer caking, contains VTAE, which is produced by regeneration of car and/or industrial oils, and which has rotary viscosity at 135°C of no more than 300 cP.
EFFECT: invention allows for the production of a coating composition for a fertilizer for reduction in dust formation and inclination to caking during long-term storage and processing, which does not impact on characteristics of processing, flowability, or agronomical properties of the fertilizer.
