FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to the quantitative assessment of a tendency in a surrogate blood pressure indicator. A device containing a machine-readable medium is proposed for implementation of a method including obtaining a set of measurement values of a surrogate blood pressure indicator for a subject, characterized in that the method additionally includes obtaining for each measurement value of the surrogate blood pressure indicator an error value indicating a measurement error for the measurement value of the surrogate blood pressure indicator, and analysis of the specified set of measurement values of the surrogate blood pressure indicator and corresponding error values, using Bayesian inference to determine the tendency in the surrogate blood pressure indicator over time. In this case, the stage of obtaining the set of measurement values of the surrogate blood pressure indicator includes for each measurement value of the surrogate blood pressure indicator: obtaining measurement values of the surrogate blood pressure indicator over a time interval; assessment of measurement values of the surrogate blood pressure indicator, obtained within the time interval to determine, whether the surrogate blood pressure indicator is in a stable state; and, if the surrogate blood pressure indicator is not in the stable state, extrapolation of measurement values of the surrogate blood pressure indicator, obtained within the time interval for quantitative assessment of the measurement value of the surrogate blood pressure indicator in the stable state.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides the possibility of more accurate measurement of characteristics of a physiological state of a subject due to improvement of the quantitative assessment of a tendency obtained from measurements of a surrogate blood pressure indicator, in particular, if measurements of the surrogate blood pressure indicator may have measurement errors.
