SUBSTANCE: insulator is proposed containing a terminal block made with the possibility of connection to a supporting structure, a terminal block made with the possibility of connection to a wire, and a grounding insert made with the possibility of grounding, as well as insulating elements mechanically connecting each of the terminals with a grounding insert located closer to one of the terminals.
EFFECT: proposed insulator ensures that no electric current flows through the supporting structure in the presence of leakage currents in the insulator or in the event of an electric arc.
