FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to devices used on overhead power lines (OL) or other electrical equipment for indicating an overlap and/or breakdown of insulators. The device relates to a device for determining a breakdown or overlap of an insulator with a destructible element and a signal element. The destructible element consists of a case equipped with electrodes, in which an explosive charge is placed. One of electrodes contains a detachable fastening elements, to which the signal element is fixed.
EFFECT: providing easy assembly of the device, as well as its repair and replacement of the destructible element.
