FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to wound dressing. Wound dressing contains Bronsted acid and polymer sensitive to pH changing. Bronsted acid is introduced into a matrix formed of polymer sensitive to pH changing, or is enclosed in a shell of polymer sensitive to pH changing. At the same time, Bronsted acid is substance selected from a group including lactic acid and benzoic acid, and polymer sensitive to pH changing is copolymer of methacrylic acid and methyl methacrylate.
EFFECT: invention provides controlled release of Bronsted acid for reduction in wound pH, when there is a corresponding need for it.
