FIELD: ceramic refractory products.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for producing ceramic refractory products from calcium zirconate, mainly for elements of melting units for melting non-ferrous metals. According to the proposed method, the target workpiece is made, the method including the steps of obtaining the initial technological block from the initial fine fraction of calcium zirconate with a particle size of not more than 10 mcm; sintering the original technological block to an apparent density of at least 2.88 g/cm3 and not more than 3.84 g/cm3; crushing the sintered process unit and separating the target large fraction of calcium zirconate with a particle size of over 0.1 mm; obtaining the target mixture containing the target coarse and initial fine fractions of calcium zirconate; molding the billet and sintering to its apparent density over 3.84 g/cm3. The sintered billet is subjected to mechanical processing.
EFFECT: increasing the apparent density and strength, as well as reducing the open porosity of the ceramic refractory product.
