FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol generating product and to its manufacturing method. The aerosol generating product has a near end and a far end, contains an inner tubular element with a mouthpiece end and an opposite end of a heat source located at the far end of the aerosol generating product, and an outer tubular element passing from the near end of the aerosol generating product in the direction of its far end. The inner tubular element contains an inner wrapping sheet surrounding in a coaxial arrangement: a combustible heat source located in the direction of the far end of the aerosol generating product; aerosol forming substrate located further along the stream relatively to the combustible heat source; and, as a rule, an empty space between aerosol forming substrate and the mouthpiece end. The outer tubular element, as a rule, surrounds at least mouthpiece end of the inner tubular element and the empty space and ends further along the stream relatively to the heat source. The inner wrapping sheet contains a preliminary twisted part at least in an area surrounding the empty space. The arrangement provides that the far end containing the combustible heat source and aerosol forming substrate is easily moved with the possibility of sliding relatively to the outer tubular element from an extended position characterized by the first length of the product to a retracted position characterized by the second length of the product, which is less than the first length of the product, and in which the empty space is at least partially compressed to an axial compressed configuration.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at provision of an aerosol generating product with a structure containing a reduced strength area, which would prevent the creation of alternating air paths, which would be undesirable for aerosol delivery; in addition, provision of an aerosol generating device, which can be manufactured using existing production processes, and which can be produced with existing production rates.
