FIELD: gas turbines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gas turbine engineering, in particular, to fuel supply systems of gas turbine sets in gas compressor units. Method for major repair of the fuel system of a gas turbine set (GTS) including, installed in the fuel gas line of the GTS, shutoff and locking valves and a control valve with an electrically-driven rotary dosing system with a separate valve control unit, by removing the electrically-driven rotary dosing system and the separate valve control unit from the control valve body and installing a new electrically-driven dosing system and separate valve control in place thereof; wherein a shutoff plunger dosing system with a linear electric drive and a separate valve control unit is installed as a new dosing system in the control valve; for this, when the gas turbine is not in operation and the shutoff valves are closed on the fuel gas line of the GTS, except for the open flare valve, the standard electric drive of the control valve is dismantled; the standard valve control unit is dismantled: the standard dosing system is dismantled from the control valve body; the internal valve body cavity is purged with compressed air, if necessary; control measurements of the depth and diameter of the bore in the valve body, wherefrom all parts of the standard rotary dosing system have been removed, are taken; the matches between these sizes and the sizes of the matching parts of the new shutoff plunger dosing system are confirmed; if necessary, said matching parts are refined, followed by installing the parts and components of the new dosing system in the standard valve body, mounting the linear electric drive on the body, connecting the output rod thereof to the rod of the plunger of the new dosing system, placing the control unit of the new system separately and connecting to the electric drive of the valve by electrical circuits.

EFFECT: higher reliability of operation of the gas turbine set due to the restored reliability, accuracy, and speed of the control valve installed in the fuel supply system of the GTS.
