SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for producing a tobacco rod from tobacco for heating and to an apparatus for producing a tobacco rod from tobacco for heating. Method for producing a tobacco rod from tobacco for heating includes: a cutting stage wherein a sheet of tobacco raw material is cut consecutively along the transportation path into multiple continuous tobacco bundle elements in the form of bundles when the sheet of tobacco raw materials is transported along the transportation path; a shaping stage wherein the multiple continuous tobacco bundle elements produced at the cutting stage are wrapped in wrapping paper in a state wherein the multiple continuous tobacco bundle elements are aligned along the transportation path, thereby forming a continuous tobacco rod in the form of a rod; an addition stage wherein at least one of a flavouring agent and an aerosol source material is added to the multiple continuous tobacco bundle elements in the process of wrapping the multiple continuous tobacco bundle elements in wrapping paper at the shaping stage; and the separating stage wherein the continuous tobacco rod created at the shaping stage is consecutively cut into individual tobacco rods.

EFFECT: eliminated unintentional breakage of the continuous bundle and sticking of the sheets when the sheets of tobacco raw materials are unwound from the spool, and prevented non-uniform aerosol formation along the cross section of the tobacco rod when the tobacco product is used.
