SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics, and can be used to predict preterm birth. The bacterial mass is taken and analyzed by the Femoflor-16 test system. Smear analysis with the Femoflor-16 test system is carried out at 10-14 weeks of pregnancy. From the data obtained, the total bacterial mass and indicators of microbiological analysis are isolated: Lactobacillus spp., Gardnerella vaginalis + Prevotella bivia + Poiphyromonas spp., Eubacterium spp., Sneathia spp. + Leptotrichia spp. + Fusobacterium spp., Lachnobacterium spp. + Clostridium spp., Mobiluncus spp/Corynebacterium spp., Ureaplasma spp., Staphylococcus spp. Based on their values, the PBIMA prognostic index is calculated using the formula

If the PBIMA index is greater than 0, the risk of preterm birth is low, and if the PRIMA index is less than 0, the risk is high.
EFFECT: method provides the possibility of increasing the efficiency of predicting preterm labor in a pregnant woman in the first trimester by assessing the vaginal microbiocenosis by the CPR method with real-time detection of results using the Femoflor-16 test system.
