FIELD: rotary engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in rotary engines. The rotary piston internal combustion engine includes a stator, a rotor and a synchronization mechanism. The stator is a detachable body (1) of spherical shape with at least two inlet and two outlet openings. The rotor consists of two coaxial shafts (2) and (3) located along the central axis of the housing - a driving and a driven one. The driving and driven shafts (2) and (3) are equipped with at least 4 driving and 4 driven pistons (4) and (5) rigidly mounted on them, respectively. The driven and driving pistons (4) and (5) are in the form of ball shares formed by its meridional secant planes. The driving and driven pistons (4) and (5) are oriented inside the housing (1) around its central axis in an alternating sequence, with the possibility of forming working chambers between the side surfaces of adjacent shares. The synchronization mechanism is located outside the stator and includes a fixed ring gear, inside which two satellite gears are diametrically opposed, connected by means of the first carrier to the drive shaft (2) of the rotor. The second carrier is fixed on the driven shaft (3) of the rotor. Each of the ends of the second carrier is connected by a rod to the peripheral point of the corresponding satellite gear. The number of teeth and the diameter of the satellite gear are related to the number of teeth and the diameter of the crown gear as 1:4.
EFFECT: increasing the power and smoothness of the engine while simplifying the design.
