FIELD: photography.
SUBSTANCE: method for photographic recording of images of a fast process by two high-speed cameras consists in forming a light flux with the input objective; dividing said flux in a horizontal plane into two equal parts, wherein one part is directed directly into the first camera, and the other part is directed through an additional reflecting mirror into the second camera; the parts of the light fluxes, through the corresponding internal objectives, rasters, and scanning mirrors with a natural rotation speed, reach the corresponding fixed photographic films, wherein the path lengths of the divided light fluxes are made equal. One of the cameras is rotated around the optical axis by 90° relative to the other camera, maintaining the same optical beam length, in order to obtain a vertical scan of the image, followed by recording raster images in mutually perpendicular scan directions.
EFFECT: higher reliability and informative value of tests due to the simultaneous photographic recording of single fast processes with two high-speed cameras with mutually perpendicular scan directions.
