SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for final assembly of fixed artillery ammunition, a machine for cartridging an artillery shot, and a machine for crimping an artillery case. Method for final assembly of fixed artillery ammunition includes the process of cartridging, consisting in mating the munition with the case, and the process of crimping the artillery case. Cartridging is performed on the machine for cartridging an artillery shot, and the case crimping is performed on the machine for case crimping. On the cartridging machine, the munition body is installed vertically in the munition securing and centring apparatus, the case filled with propellant charge is installed vertically on the lifting table, and the lifting table with the case filled with propellant charge is lifted by means of the handling apparatus until the case neck abuts against the lower part of the munition. The case is pressed onto the cylindrical part of the munition until the case edge abuts against the drive belt of the munition and the munition is mated with the case. After the munition and the case are mated, the lifting table is lowered, and the cartridged shot is removed from the cartridging machine and transferred to the machine for case crimping, whereon the cartridged munition with the case are set vertically on the lifting table. The lifting table with the munition secured thereon is lifted until the drive belt of the munition abuts against the stop of the crimping apparatus. The lifting of the table with the munition is then ended, and the case is crimped by means of the crimping apparatus at the point of connection of the case neck with the drive belt of the munition, thereby reliably securing the munition to the case, followed by lowering the lifting table and removing the munition.

EFFECT: higher safety of assembling a munition.
