FIELD: continuous casting.
SUBSTANCE: device for cooling of a casting mold, in particular, a casting mold for vertical continuous casting, contains at least one cooling unit (11). The casting mold contains contact surface (10) having inner and outer sides, while inner side (10a) limits continuous casting during operation. Cooling unit (11) is placed on the casting mold with the possibility of movement, wherein gap (12) is formed between cooling unit (11) and the outer side of contact surface (10). Cooling unit (11) contains adjusting element (13) providing a possibility of adjustment of a width of gap (12).
EFFECT: continuous casting of different materials, using one mold, with reduction in billet deformations occurring during continuous casting.
