FIELD: biomedical technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biomedical technologies, and specifically to a group of methods aimed at changing the conductivity of cell membranes to control cell activity. A nucleic acid encoding a thermosensitive human TRPV1 channel with altered ion selectivity (TRPV1ΔCa2+), which provides depolarization of the cell membrane and lacks the conductivity of divalent calcium cations, has been proposed, having the sequence SEQ ID NO: 01.
EFFECT: exclusion of damage and death of excitable cells due to their overload with calcium ions during thermogenetic control of transmembrane transport of cations using the human TRPV1 channel.
