FIELD: chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of chemical technology for the production of lithium concentrates and can be used in the technology of selective extraction of lithium from multicomponent alkaline solutions formed in technological processes for extracting lithium from sea water, brines of geothermal waters and salt lakes. Selective extraction extraction of lithium is carried out from an aqueous alkaline solution containing chlorides of lithium, sodium, potassium and sodium hydroxide. An equimolar 0.1-0.5 mol/l solution of 2-ethylhexyl ester of 2-hydroxybenzoic acid and phosphine oxides of the hexyl-octyl series in undecane is used as an extractant in the extraction extraction at a concentration of sodium hydroxide in an aqueous alkaline solution of 0.20-0.5 mol/l.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the distribution coefficients (DLi) and the degree of extraction (E, %) of lithium, as well as a high selectivity of the extractant with respect to lithium.
