FIELD: electroplating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electroplating and can be used for anticorrosive protection of assembly welds in conditions of a construction site by electrolytic deposition of zinc coating on local areas of metal surfaces. The device contains a direct current source, a handle consisting of a body, which is a container for electrolyte, an anode made of zinc, a dielectric tampon, while the body of the handle is made of a dielectric chemically resistant material and has a shape that is convenient for grasping with a hand. The positive pole of the DC source is connected to the anode, while the current source is placed in a separate housing, equipped with load resistors and toggle switches for selecting operating modes, the negative pole of the current source is connected to load resistors, the outputs of which are brought out on a flexible wire with a clamp at the end, designed for connection with the surface to be treated, the positive pole of the DC source is connected to the anode by means of a flexible wire, while the anode is located at the end of the handle, outside its body and has a through hole, and a piston is placed in the handle body.
EFFECT: increasing the speed of coating and the time of uninterrupted operation of the device.
