FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrolytic metallurgy and may be used for the resource-increasing treatment of a metal tool. The technical result is achieved by the fact that the device for the application of electrolytic coatings comprises a tampon from a dielectric material and an anode placed into an electrolyte, at the same time the tampon has a cylindrical groove, covering working surfaces of the tool; the anode is made in the form of a sleeve, where the tampon is located, being soaked with the electrolyte; the cover of the galvanic chamber comprises a calibrated hole, closed by an elastic membrane with slots; the body of the galvanic chamber comprises two spring electrodes, providing for the possibility to close the power supply of the galvanic plant via the inserted tool; inside the body of the galvanic chamber there is a heating element; additionally there is a controller to select the coating thickness. Also the device comprises several galvanic chambers for the treatment of tools of different geometry.
EFFECT: provision of the possibility of the automated electrolytic application of solid galvanic coatings onto figurine working sections of a metal tool with the given thickness.
