FIELD: hydrogen deposits exploration.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for prospecting and exploration of fossil hydrogen deposits in the sedimentary strata of ancient platforms, which has trap formation rocks in the middle part of the section. To select the location and design of the well, first, studies are carried out using the magnetotelluric method and seismic studies with the registration of shear waves in order to determine the structure of the sub-trap space, then, based on the results of the study of the core material, the lower edge of the trap formation is determined, and according to the results of well studies and the results of VSP-NVP in the complex with the results of seismic surveys by the method for transverse waves, taking into account the principle of gravitational differentiation, the search for deposits of fossil hydrogen is carried out.

EFFECT: improvement of method for prospecting and exploration of fossil hydrogen deposits.
