FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to obstetrics and gynaecology, and can be used to predict a threatened miscarriage in women in the I trimester of gestation. The level of HLA-C (Human leucocyte antigen C) is determined in the peripheral venous blood of a pregnant woman at the gestational age of 5 to 13 weeks of pregnancy. If the HLA-C value is equal to 118 mcg/ml or higher, a threatened miscarriage is predicted.
EFFECT: expanded range of prognostic tools, higher sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of predicting the development of a threatened miscarriage in the early stages of gestation, possibility of applying a personalised approach to the treatment of patients with the natural course of pregnancy by determining the level of HLA-C in blood.
