FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the chemical industry. To obtain carbon from carbon dioxide, atmospheric air is fed into the scrubber, while CO2-enriched air is removed from the scrubber outlet, which is sent to the amine concentration unit. In the amine concentration block, CO2-enriched air is passed through monomethylamine. From the amine concentration unit, a saturated CO2 solution of monomethylamine is sent to the amine concentration reactor, after which the resulting CO2 from the amine concentration reactor is sent to the Sabatier reactor. Next, the vaporous mixture of CH4 and H2O is sent to the heat exchanger, while the condensed water is removed through the cooling jacket of the microwave generator to the electrolyzer to obtain a compensating flow of H2directed to the Sabatier reactor. The externally introduced CH4 stream is combined with the CH4 stream from the Sabatier reactor. The combined CH4 stream is sent to a microwave generator, carbon is removed as a product. An installation for obtaining carbon from carbon dioxide is also proposed.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to increase efficiency and reduce energy costs for carbon production.
