FIELD: heat and mass transfer.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat and mass transfer, specifically to extraction processes using supercritical fluids (SCF). The installation for the implementation of the supercritical extraction process using various co-solvents contains a compressed gas cylinder, two high-pressure plunger pumps, a heat exchanger inside which an extraction cell is installed, an intermediate heated vessel, two extract collectors, a control and measurement system (CMS). One high-pressure plunger pump is connected by a suction pipe to a cylinder with compressed gas (CO2) through a refrigerator that provides gas liquefaction, and by a discharge pipe to an intermediate heated vessel, the other high-pressure plunger pump is connected to a co-solvent tank by a suction pipe, and by a discharge pipe to an intermediate heated a vessel connected through a pipeline to the extraction cell, a heat exchanger having a heater and a pipeline for maintaining the temperature and supplying supercritical fluid (SCF) to the extraction cell, while the extraction cell is connected to the first extract collector through a high pressure valve and through a pressure reducing valve is connected to the second extract collector, at the outlet of which a gas meter is installed.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of implementing the SCFE process using supercritical carbon dioxide modified with a co-solvent having a crystallization temperature higher than the temperature of carbon dioxide pumped by a high-pressure pump, due to the installation of an intermediate heated vessel that provides heating and mixing of carbon dioxide and co-solvent before they are fed into the extraction cell.
