FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: device to lay rails on a link-assembling line comprises enveloping mobile storage of rails and satellite trolley with a set of sleepers of a link, two portals, mechanisms for rail gripping and their laying onto the satellite trolley moving along the portals. The satellite trolley is moved by a mechanism made in the form of parallel driving racks moving reciprocally in mutual opposite directions. Racks are equipped with grips that are evenly arranged and driven into reciprocal movement. On the path of movement of the satellite trolley in parallel to the ends of the rails of their mobile storage there is a portal mounted with thrust shields that slide along the satellite trolley motion. Shields are equipped with feelers for interaction with their one end with the end sleeper of the link sleeper set, and by the second one with the sensor for stopping of either satellite trolley or the thrust shield. The sensor is mounted as capable of regulation of its interaction with the feeler. Sliding thrust shields are mounted on the carriage that moves vertically on the portal.

EFFECT: device guarantees laying of rails onto a set of sleepers of a satellite trolley link along a level square or with displacement of a shortened rail.
