FIELD: diagnostics; video inspection; flaw detection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of diagnostics, video inspection, flaw detection of main and technological gas pipelines, oil pipelines, pipelines in the housing and utilities sector; it can be used in operation on hard-to-reach pipe sections (pipeline ovalization, corrugations, bulges, dents, T-shaped transitions, and other obstacles), pipes of any structure with a variable section of a diameter of vertical and inclined sections, without the use of a trench method for pipeline diagnostics. The robot includes interconnected at least two bearing bases with support legs with support wheels having drives. Each bearing base contains at least three support legs located at an angle of at least 60 degrees relatively to each other and made in the form of a pivot-spring mechanism. Support legs and support wheels are connected by means of a platform. Support wheels are made with spikes. In at least one bearing base, an analysis system is installed, connected to control and instrumental means. Control and instrumental means are installed on at least one bearing base, and/or between bases, and/or on the platform.
EFFECT: creation of a simple robot with a wide range of technological capabilities, capable of performing video, tele-inspection, flaw detection of pipelines of any geometrical location in space and configuration of any complexity, with detection of damages, measurement of a thickness of a pipeline wall, prediction of a residual resource, building of maps of stresses, deformations, and movements of structure walls during operation.
