FIELD: valve engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valve engineering, in particular, to axial flow control valves applied in industrial pipeline valves, and is intended for controlling and shutting off working media of liquids and gases. Direct-flow control valve comprises a welded body containing an integral central part consisting of an external body and an internal body, inlet and outlet branch pipes welded thereto with flanges, a flow divider made in the form of a perforated hollow cylinder, and a locking body constituting a piston with a translational motion drive made in the form of a rack mechanism with the horizontal rod connected to the piston and the vertical rack connected to the drive. The vertical rack is positioned with a gap in the hole of the cylindrical guide. The horizontal rod is installed in the cylindrical guide provided with a flange in the central part of the outer surface for the connection to the end of the internal body located on the side of the outlet branch pipe. A piston is installed at the end of the horizontal rod on the side of the outlet branch pipe, secured between the inner and outer disks using the annular protrusion on the inner surface, configured to move and be self-installed in the perforated cylinder within the radial and axial gap between the piston and the disks. The axes of the vertical rack and the horizontal rod intersect. Herewith, the profiles of the teeth of the vertical rack and the horizontal rod are rectangular.
EFFECT: given the relatively simple design, low labour intensity and manufacturing costs thereof, the valve is capable of operating in various settings and temperature conditions without the horizontal rod and vertical rack being jammed.
