FIELD: pipeline transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes taking running samples of diesel fuel, recording the volume of the resulting mixture of diesel fuel and deposits from the inner surface of the pipeline at the end of the pipeline section, its analysis by colour, content of mechanical impurities and water at the diesel fuel quantity and quality control point to determine the volume of non-standard diesel fuel for each of the at least three passes of cleaning and diagnostic tools (CDT) and calculation of the coefficient of the individual average statistical volume of non-standard diesel fuel kind and calculation of the predicted volume of non-standard diesel fuel when planning the next CDT passes.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to ensure preservation of quality of diesel fuel (DF) during in-line cleaning and diagnostics.
