FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: proposed is a recombinant strain of Ogataea haglerorum yeast, RNCIM Y-4951 — producer of the Eschegisia coli phytase enzyme. Said strain does not contain antibiotic resistance genes and is capable of synthesising and secrete the enzyme at a cultivation temperature of 37°C. When fermented in a 10-liter fermenter, the strain produces 23.7 mg/ml of protein, wherein the activity of phytase produced by the strain after 187 h of cultivation at 37°C is 17,660 U/ml of culture liquis.

EFFECT: production of a new producer of the Eschegisia coli phytase enzyme.
