FIELD: video encoding.

SUBSTANCE: method is proposed for implementation of horizontal geometrical filling on the current sample based on reception of an indication with wrapping permission, which indicates , whether compensation of horizontal wrapping motion is allowed. If compensation of horizontal wrapping motion is allowed based on the indication with wrapping permission, a device for video signal encoding can determine displacement of wrapping of a reference sample for the current sample in an image. Displacement of wrapping of the reference sample can indicate a panorama width. The device for video signal encoding can determine a location of the reference sample relatively to the current sample based on displacement of wrapping of the reference sample, an image width, and a location of the current sample, as well as it can predict the current sample based on the location of the reference sample in a horizontal direction. Refilling or clipping can be used in a vertical direction.

EFFECT: provision of natural interaction of a user with objects in a virtual world with tactile feedback for the user.
