FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction of buildings and structures in areas with complex engineering and geocryological conditions, namely to a method for installation of screw piles in permafrost soils and a helical screw. The method for installation of a screw pile in permafrost soils includes drilling of a well with excavation of the soil by means of a drilling mechanism containing a movable part with a trunk, a screw located on it, extraction of the movable part from the well by means of reverse rotation, installation of the screw pile. First, a cylindrical well is drilled, in which, then, thread is cut, or drilling of the cylindrical well is performed simultaneously with thread cutting. An outer diameter of thread of a screw well is not less than an outer diameter of the screw pile. When cutting thread, a rotational moment is applied to head or tail part of the trunk. The screw pile is rolled-welded with a multiturn screw blade, and cutters for thread cutting are located on at least part of a spiral flange of the screw, and at least part of the flange of the screw is made conical. Cutters are installed in such a way that a profile and a step of thread in the well correspond to a profile and a step of the screw blade of the pile. Installation of the screw pile is carried out by its screwing by thread of the screw-like well.

EFFECT: simplification of a process and reduction in time of installation of a screw pile, universalization of the process, increase in the reliability and control of installation, possibility of repairment and replacement of screw piles.
