SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, to molecular diagnostic tools, namely to differentiation of the genome of the NISHI vaccine strain from field isolates of sheep pox virus by real-time polymerase chain reaction with high-resolution peak analysis. The developed method is characterized by an analytical specificity of 100%. In the 95% confidence interval, the diagnostic sensitivity for this method is 97.49-100.00%, the diagnostic specificity is 97.20-100.00%.
EFFECT: invention provides the ability to differentiate the genome of the NISHI vaccine strain from field isolates of sheep pox virus in a short period of time (no more than 3 hours) by real-time polymerase chain reaction with high-resolution peak analysis.
