FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building, in particular, to devices for bench testing of internal combustion engines (ICE) with forced ignition with liquid and gaseous fuels. The invention can be used to visually demonstrate the operation of electronic engine control units, and in particular to monitor the control of functional parameters in real time, allowing to analyze the mechanisms of their occurrence and methods for simulating engine operation with imitation of various malfunctions and emergencies.
EFFECT: automated system for functional diagnostics of an internal combustion engine provides an increase in the information content and accuracy of data on functional parameters in real time with the ability to analyze the mechanism of their occurrence and correct the methodology for simulating engine operation by simulating various malfunctions and emergencies, as well as visually demonstrating the operation of electronic engine control units, which allows for diagnostic, research, development and laboratory tests.
