VASCULAR IMPLANT, DELIVERY DEVICE AND MEDICAL DEVICE Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61F2/24 A61F2/90 A61F2/91 A61F2/966 A61F2/97

Abstract RU 2786334 C1

FIELD: medical devices.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical tools and more specifically to a vascular implant, a delivery device and a medical device used in the treatment of vascular aneurysms. A vascular implant for delivery to the target location by a delivery device containing a delivery rod and a chamber contains a proximal end defining the first engagement structure configured for a detachable holding engagement with a delivery rod. The first engagement structure and the delivery rod are designed to be inserted into and removed from the chamber. When the first engagement structure and the delivery rod are inserted into the chamber, the first engagement structure is compressed by the chamber and remains in a holding engagement with the delivery rod so that the vascular implant is locked axially on the delivery rod. When the first engagement structure is removed from the chamber, the first engagement structure is no longer compressed by the chamber and can detach from the delivery rod so that the vascular implant is unlocked axially from the delivery rod. The first engagement structure contains at least one first engagement element configured to maintain a holding engagement with the delivery rod when it is compressed by the camera, and to detach from the delivery rod when it is no longer compressed by the camera. The first engagement element defines a gap configured to: block the passage of the delivery rod through it when the first engagement structure and the delivery rod are inserted into the chamber to hold the first engagement structure in the holding engagement with the delivery rod, and unblock the passage of the delivery rod through it when the first engagement structure is removed from the chamber to detach the first engagement element from the delivery rod. At least one first engagement element contains two or more retaining legs spaced apart from each other in the direction of the circumference of the vascular implant and determining the gap between them, and the retaining legs are deformable in the axial direction of the vascular implant so that the first engagement element is deformable in the axial direction of the vascular implant. The delivery device for delivering the vascular implant described above to the target location contains a delivery rod containing a second engagement structure for a detachable retaining engagement with the proximal end of the vascular implant; and a chamber configured to receive the delivery rod and the proximal end of the vascular implant. When the proximal end of the vascular implant and the delivery rod are inserted into the chamber, the proximal end of the vascular rod is compressed by the chamber and remains in a holding engagement with the second engagement structure so that the vascular implant is locked axially on the delivery rod. The proximal end of the vascular implant is removed from the chamber, the proximal end of the vascular implant is no longer compressed by the chamber and is therefore disconnected from the second engagement structure so that the vascular implant is axially unlocked from the delivery rod. The medical device comprises the vascular implant and delivery device described above, in which the first engagement structure of the vascular implant is configured for a detachable retaining engagement with the second engagement structure of the delivery rod.

EFFECT: present invention enables to create a vascular implant, a delivery device and a medical device in which the vascular implant can be held stationary in the axial direction relative to the delivery rod and, therefore, can be delivered more stably and without displacement.
