SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the pharmaceutical industry, namely to a composition for the rapid onset of the weakening of nicotine addiction. A compressed nicotine tablet decomposing in the mouth for the rapid onset of the weakening of nicotine addiction, containing nicotine and a pH-regulating agent, is intended for release of a nicotine content for a period of 90 seconds, when interacting with oral saliva, and the tablet is intended for release of a content of the pH-regulating agent for a period of 60 seconds, when interacting with oral saliva. The tablet contains at least one polyol, while polyol is more than 40 wt.% of the tablet weight, where at least one polyol is selected from sorbitol, erythritol, xylitol, maltitol, lactitol, isomalt, and mixtures thereof, while the tablet contains nicotine in amount from 0.5 mg to 10.0 mg, and the pH-regulating agent is an alkaline buffering agent. A method for the weakening of nicotine addiction by introduction of effective amount of the specified compressed nicotine tablet decomposing in the mouth is proposed. An oral sachet for the weakening of nicotine addiction contains a powder composition containing nicotine and a pH-regulating agent, where the composition is intended for release of a nicotine content for a period of 90 seconds, when interacting with oral saliva, and is intended for release of a content of the pH-regulating agent for a period of 60 seconds, when interacting with oral saliva. The composition contains at least one polyol, while polyol is more than 40 wt.% of the composition weight, where at least one polyol is selected from sorbitol, erythritol, xylitol, maltitol, lactitol, isomalt, and mixtures thereof, while the composition contains nicotine in amount from 0.5 mg to 10.0 mg, and the pH-regulating agent is an alkaline buffering agent.

EFFECT: above-described composition is efficient for the rapid onset of the weakening of nicotine addiction, avoiding or at least minimizing a burning sensation from nicotine.
