FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to laboratory methods for determining Streptococcus pneumoniae serotypes and can be used for molecular diagnostics of circulating strains of pneumococcal infection (PI), conducting microbiological monitoring and solving research tasks for the study of pneumococcal infections. A multiplex PCR mixture is proposed for the determination of serotypes 12FAB, 15BC, 22FA, 8 Streptococcus pneumonia and a method for using a multiplex PCR mixture. Determination of serotypes 12FAB, 15BC, 22FA, 8 S. pneumoniae is carried out by means of a multiplex PCR mixture containing the original sequences of oligonucleotides SEQ ID NO: 1-12.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of detecting DNA fragments of four serotypes of S. Pneumoniae: 12FAB, 15BC, 22FA, 8 by PCR-RRV in multiplex format, provides minimal risk of contamination during the study and eliminates subjectivity in evaluating the results, it makes it possible to identify the maximum proportion of circulating serotypes PI2 in a short time.
