SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely to veterinary medicine, immunology, and infectiology; it is intended for the prevention of an infection caused by a Hendra and/or Nipah virus in a horse or a pig. The vaccine contains 50-100 mkg of a soluble fragment of glycoprotein G of the Nipah virus, consisting of amino acids 71-602 of SEQ ID NO: 4 or a sequence at least 95% identical to it, as well as an immune-stimulating complex and one or more excipients. In addition, a method for the prevention of an infection caused by a Hendra and/or Nipah virus in a horse or a pig is presented, including administration of the first dose and the second dose of the specified vaccine.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions provides effective prevention of an infection caused by a Hendra and/or Nipah virus in a horse or a pig.
