SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely to the use of IL-8 inhibitor for the prevention and/or treatment of metastases in lungs, related to osteosarcoma, where IL-8 inhibitor is R(-)-2-[(4-trifluormethanesulfonyloxy)phenyl]-N-methanesulfonyl propionamide or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the use in the prevention and/or treatment of metastases in lungs, related to osteosarcoma, containing IL-8 inhibitor and pharmaceutically acceptable excipients and/or diluents, where IL-8 inhibitor is R(-)-2-[(4-trifluormethanesulfonyloxy)phenyl]-N-methanesulfonyl propionamide or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. The invention also relates to a product or a kit for the prevention and/or treatment of metastases in lungs, related to osteosarcoma, including: A) IL-8 inhibitor, which is R(-)-2-[(4-trifluormethanesulfonyloxy)phenyl]-N-methanesulfonyl propionamide or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, or a pharmaceutical composition, and B) IL-6 inhibitor, which is 2-(7-fluorpyrrolo[1,2-a]quinoxaline-4-yl)2-pyrazinecarboxylic acid hydrazide. A) and B) are two separate compositions for simultaneous, separate, or sequential use.
