FIELD: biomedical materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biomedical materials and, in particular, to biomimetic material suppressing ice growth. Biomimetic material is obtained by creation of a library of compound molecule structures, in which molecules contain a hydrophilic group and a group having affinity to ice, by assessment of indicators of a capacity of each compound molecule for being distributed along an “ice-water” interface, using a molecular dynamics method (hereinafter – MD modeling), and by screening of compound molecules with a desired degree of affinity to ice and to water. A mechanism of material affinity to ice and water is proposed, introduction of MD modeling in projecting of a molecular structure of material suppressing ice growth is proposed, assessment of affinity of projected material to ice and water, using MD modeling, is proposed, prediction of characteristics of suppression of ice growth for material suppressing ice growth is proposed, and a possibility of optimization of its structure is proposed.
EFFECT: projected and sampled biomimetic material has a good capacity of suppression of ice crystal growth and can provide a good cryopreserving effect relatively to reagents even without addition of DMSO.
