SUBSTANCE: invention relates to timber industry and woodworking industries, is equipment of continuous operation of continuous type using microwave fields and is assembled from several sections similar to each other on a single basis. A device for drying veneer in a microwave field consists of one or more sections having the same functional purpose, according to the invention, the body of each section is a U-shaped waveguide, the two sections of which, the first initial and the second final, are located in a horizontal plane parallel to each other and connected to each other by means of flanges, a horizontal slot is formed in the waveguide housing, while at the beginning of the first section of the waveguide there is a magnetron, at the end of the second end section - a water buffer.

EFFECT: continuity of the drying process of veneer of any moisture content from wood of various species, simplicity of the device, no energy loss, the possibility of automating the operation of devices.
