FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport, in particular to coupling devices for transcontinental railway cars. The device contains a head block with two different coupling profiles and a shank assembly. The shank assembly contains a connecting part of the U-shaped head and a fastening part. The head unit is inserted into the connecting part and attached to it with hinges. From the rear end of the connecting part of the head, a fastening part passes, which is attached to the car body. Support portions protrude from the upper and lower surfaces of the rear end of the head block. Support grooves are made on the inner surface of the connecting part. The support parts of the head block are inserted into the support grooves.
EFFECT: invention increases the stability of the car when moving.
