FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used in the construction of roads for the manufacture of road markings. The method for laying markings at pedestrian crossings consists in the fact that when laying the roadway, a lower layer of concrete pavement is formed on the prepared roadway. The bottom layer of the concrete pavement is reinforced and vertical drainage channels filled with gravel are made. The top layer of the asphalt concrete pavement is formed with the formation of cavities corresponding to the dimensions of the elements most susceptible to wear of road markings at intersections and preventing their shift and spread. As elements that form road markings, bars are used, made from a construction mixture based on magnesia cement with dimensions of 1000x20x40 and 500x20x40. The bars are placed in cavities on dry fine sand, the gaps between the bars are filled with dry fine sand. To increase the perception of road markings by drivers at night, the top layer of bars is formed from the same building mixture with colors that differ in color by adding coloring pigments of the desired colors to the mixture with the addition of a phosphorescent substance.
EFFECT: invention provides a marking that is clearly visible to drivers and is characterized by low wear rate.
