FIELD: biotechnology; molecular biology; breeding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, molecular biology, and agricultural animal breeding. A set of sequences of primers and allele-specific probes is proposed for differentiation of A and B alleles of kappa-casein in cattle by a polymerase chain reaction with hybridization-fluorescent detection in a “real time” mode. The set includes CSN3-RT-F-114: 5'-agagcccacctgagatcaac-3' and CSN3-RT-R-114: 5'-tcttggctgttattcattttgc-3' primers and Probe 1: FAM-caactgcggtctaaatactctaaggag-BHQ1 and Probe 2: HEX-caactgcagtctaaaaactctaaggag-BHQ1 allele-specific probes.
EFFECT: invention provides specific differentiation of A and B alleles of kappa-casein gene of cattle in a more accurate and less labor-intensive way.
