FIELD: coatings.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the production of wear-resistant coating; it can be used for creation of friction couples resistant to wear. Wear-resistant coating applied to a surface of a base of structural material, with roughness Rmax from 5 to 80 mcm, consists of a binding alloy layer containing, in any combinations and proportions, copper, tin, antimony, bismuth, lead, and reinforcing particles of tungsten carbide, having a shape close to spherical. In this case, the binder is applied to the base surface by a fusing or spraying method, wherein reinforcing particles of tungsten carbide contain, on a surface, a cobalt layer, a size of the largest fraction of reinforcing particles of tungsten carbide does not exceed the maximum height of micro-unevenness of the surface of structural material, a thickness of the binding alloy layer is from 1.2d to 1.8d, where d is an average size of reinforcing particles of tungsten carbide, while reinforcing particles of tungsten carbide are mechanically pressed in the binding alloy layer, with a force determined by the proposed ratio, with subsequent heating of coating to a melting point of the binding alloy.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at an increase in antifriction and mechanical properties.
