FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. Piston petrol engine includes two parallel cylinders with connecting rod and piston groups, at least two intake valves opposite the cylinders, exhaust valves, a common crankcase and a cylinder head with a combustion chamber opposite the first cylinder. There are two crankshafts, in which one gear (11) is fixedly mounted on the first, and two gears (13) and (17) are mounted on the second. On the second crankshaft, one gear (13) is mounted freely, and the second gear (17) is fixed. There is an axle (14) with an intermediate gear (12) and a forked sector (19) with a ring gear and a block of two gears (15), (16) on the axle (18). A forked sector (19) pivotally mounted on the second crankshaft, when rotated relative to the second crankshaft, the phase shift of the crankshafts occurs. With a total gear ratio between the shafts of 1:1, the gear ratio from the fixed gear (11) of the first crankshaft to the free gear (13) of the second crankshaft should not be equal to 1:1.
EFFECT: improving fuel efficiency in all load modes.
