SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of communication technology, in particular, to a method and apparatus for communication. According to the proposed method, after the information about K uplink data channels for repeating the data packet K times and information about the first time domain resource for transmitting a first uplink control information, UCI, are received from the network equipment, the terminal equipment determines the physical resource for transmitting the first UCI information. The first UCI is transmitted using the determined physical resource. In conditions when the resources for transmitting the UCI information and the data packet overlap in the time domain and are overloaded, determining the physical resource occupied by the UCI ensures the reliability of transmitting information.
EFFECT: possibility of determining the physical resource occupied by UCI information, allowing for an increase in the information transmission reliability.
